All Students wear a traditional white uniform called a `Do-Bok' in Korean. The white color symbolizes unity and peace. Different levels are identified by belt colors.
It is important that your uniform and belt are worn properly, in fact it is a rule. You must be able to tie your belt properly or you will be asked to remove it in class. There are some rules that you must follow regarding your uniform.
Belt and Uniform Etiquette
Never walk around without you belt done up.
Never place you hands on your hips or stand with your arms crossed while in uniform. Never lean while in uniform.
When sitting in uniform, sit with either legs crossed on legs together and knees bent.
Do not roll your sleeves or cuffs of your pants up (Hem if they need adjustment).
Always have the left lapel over the right side.
Club Crest- The crest ( patch or badge ) must be sewn on the left lapel over your heart. The crest should be straight. About one finger width from the top lapel edge and three fingers from the bottom. Be sure to attach it securely as it will see a lot of abuse.
Uniform Care Your uniform is extremely durable and easy to take care of. Uniforms that are a cotton poly blend may be washed in hot or warm water with other whites, and if washed frequently will require no bleach. Tumble dry or drip dry your uniform (cotton uniforms should be washed in cold water and drip dried only). Cotton/Poly blends are wash and wear and do not need to be ironed. **NEVER iron your Club crest or you will melt it. **
